Nunwick CC 1st XI
The 1st XI play in the premiership of the Eden Valley Cricket League (EVCL) by virtue winning the first division the previous season. The EVCL is a weekend league though the majority of the games are on a Saturday. This team are the best players within the club irrespective of their age. The side is sponsored by Bells of Lazonby a long time supporter of the club. Andrew Collin is captain of this team, the weekend sides 40 overs per innings cricket where a bowler can bowl maximum of 10 overs.
Nunwick CC 2nd XI
The 2 XI play in the 3rd division of the EVCL. This team was only formed in 2005 to accommodate those players who could not get regular cricket in the first team and to give experience to the growing numbers of younger players progressing from the junior teams. The EVCL is a weekend league though the majority of the games are on a Saturday. This team tends to have a wide range of ages from 13 to 60 years of age. This team is also sponsored by Bells of Lazonby a long time supporter of the club. This side is captain by Mark James, the weekend sides 40 overs per innings cricket where a bowler can bowl maximum of 10 overs.
Nunwick CC Midweek team
The mid week team is a founder member of the Cumbria Villages Cricket League. Again it is anticipated the age range of this team is to be quite varied. It is the aim of the club to play a number of junior players to enable the continuation of their cricket education. This team currently has no sponsor. Adam Collin will captain this team.
Nunwick CC Under 11 team
The under 11 side is managed by Norman Shuttleworth. This side is sponsored by Hather Financial Services. This team consists of 10 players who bat in pairs for 4 overs per pair, their games tend to be on a Monday evening.
Nunwick CC Under 13 teams
All the under 13 teams play in the Cumbria Junior Cricket League. We currently are fielding 2 teams. The under 13 “Gold team” is managed by John Mounsey while the “Black team” is managed by Andrew Collin. Unfortunately neither of these sides currently has a sponsor. These teams play conventional 11 a side cricket, with each team batting for a maximum 20 overs. Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 5 overs.
Nunwick CC Under 15 team
The under 15 team plays in the Cumbria Junior Cricket League and is managed by Adam Collin and have new sponsors for the 2008 season in Penrith Building Supplies. This team play conventional 11 a side cricket, with each team batting for a maximum 20 overs. Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 5 overs.
