Club Mark
The club has been working towards the Club Mark accreditation over the last year. We have successfully completed our paper assessment and are currently awaiting our site visit. Once this has been successfully achieved we have developed a “Wish List” of improvements which you may have seen in the pavilion, these consist of the following:
- Net Area £17,800
- New Lawn Mower £7,500
- New Outfield Mower £10,000
- New Roller £9,000
- Relay the square £25,000
- Sight Screens £3,000
- Covers £7,000
Whilst this seems very ambitious and expensive, once we have achieved the Club Mark status we can enter the ECB grant system and potentially receive up to 75% in grants from the ECB. Thus leaving approximately £ 20,000 to raise from other grant applications and donations. The club is currently working towards becoming a Community Amateur Sports Club which would increase any donation made by Gift Aid.
The club has been successful in a number of grant applications earlier in the year. Most notably for some new furniture for the pavilion ( currently on order), coach education and to construct a web site.
