We at Nunwick are grateful we are allowed to use the field for cricket by the kind permission of the Thompson family. We therefore also must respect that part of the field is for agricultural use and keep all dogs under control especially when farm animals are also present in the field. Thank you for helping us to maintain a friendly country environment.

As a small club we are always looking for volunteers. Whether you could help with the maintenance of the pavilion or ground, be a team manager, or help with the administration, or even become coach, please contact any member of the club as proposed coaching courses for level 1’s and level 2’s are being held at Penrith Leisure Centre in the autumn. The club will be able to contribute to the cost of the coaching course for any prospective coaches.

Congratulations to Lazonby School who won the festival at Nunwick. This year had the best turn out of teams 14 from 13 schools, which saw Lazonby defeat Stainton in the final.

We have been extremely lucky to obtain sponsors for all the junior teams, namely the under 15’s by Penrith Building Supplies, under 13 Gold by Penrith Co-Operative Society, under 13 Black by David Allen Chartered Accountants and the under 11’s by Hather Financial Services.
