At Nunwick we are committed to ensuring junior cricket can thrive in a safe, secure environment. All the coaches and assistants and any other officer at the club we feel could come into contact with junior cricketers have been subjected to the enhanced Criminal Records Bureau verification. In addition to the above the coaches have also attended the Sports Coach UK “Safeguarding and Protecting Children “ course.

The club has adopted the ECB child protection policy Safe Hands and Nunwick has its own Child Welfare Officer Nicola Hadfiled-Tilly.
